ECU remapping is a process which results in optimum engine performance.

The ECU, or engine control unit, is a vital part of any engine. The main purpose of an ECU is to control the timing of the ignition, fuel mixture, variable cam timing and emissions.

When faulty, an ECU can reduce engine performance, cause misfiring and stalling or even stop a vehicle from starting at all. It can reduce the vehicle’s economy, effectively costing more in the long run when left as it is.
